Setup

Grab 5 dice, and a way to track scores.

How to Play

The first player rolls all 5 dice. Any dice showing a 2 or 4 are removed from play for that player. The rest of the dice are added to their score. Next player takes their turn.

For example: The player rolls a 2, 3, 3, 4, and 6. They remove the 2 and 4 and add the remaining 12 to their score total. On their next turn they can only roll 3 dice.

Continuing Play:

  • If a player runs out of dice, they keep their score and must wait for the rest to run out of dice. They cannot be attacked by Highlanders.
  • When a player has only 1 die left, they become a Highlander. Their turn immediately ends, and on their next turn they must attack one other Highlander. If no other players are Highlanders, they must wait for a player to become one. Once there is another Highlander, they will attack that other Highlander by challenging them to a round of High Noon. The winner of High Noon adds the loser’s score to their own, and the loser is eliminated from the game.
  • The only way a Highlander can increase their score is by attacking and killing other Highlanders.

Winning the Game

After all players can no longer roll, any non-eliminated player with the highest score wins.

If two or more non-eliminated players are tied for the highest score, the tied players settle it with a round of High Noon.

Bar Rules

  • Score Win: Everyone else still playing owes the highest-score winner a round.
  • High Noon Duel: The loser of a High Noon duel owes the winner of that duel a round.
